What is school like in the UK?
When does highschool end officially in the uk? When you're 18? I think it's called secondary school there. And what time in the morning does it start? When does it end? Do you know what month it starts and which month it ends? Then can you tell me what each day is like? Thanks!

It ends when you're 15-16. However, you can still continue education at collage for another 1, 2 or 3 years. Yes, It's called secondary school School usually stars at 8:30 to 9:00 am to 3:00 to 3:30 pm (an hour extra if there is an assembly) No idea about the dates - never really took much notice. Somewhere around August it starts and ends in July I believe. Added: Schools in UK are not like schools and America. 99% do not have "lockers" or desks that you can store stuff in.

You start secondary school when you're 11 or 12, and can leave once you're 16. My son's school starts at 9am and he finishes at 3.10pm. All schools may have slightly different start/finishing times though. The school year is different depending on which part of the UK you live in. Here in Scotland they start the year in August and finish in June. In other parts of the UK it's usually about a month later than this. We also have a different qualification system here in Scotland.
