can someone tell me how to convert american grades into UK years in school?

In the uk 7th grade or (12-13 year olds) would be in their 2nd year or 3rd year of secondary school. In schools in England Year Seven is the seventh year after Reception. It is the seventh full year of compulsory education, with children being admitted who are aged 11 on the 1st September in any given academic year. Year Seven is usually the first year of Secondary school. In some areas of England, Year Eight is the eighth year after Reception. It is the eighth full year of compulsory education, with children being admitted who are aged 12 on the 1st September in any given academic year.

What languaje you prefer, spanish or french in foreingn languaje (in the USA or UK schools)?
In my school theach english, because i live in chile, where we speak spanish, but if i lived in Usa or Uk... i prefer spanish... the french is unless important en mi colegio enseÃ±an inglÃ©s, borque yo vivo en chile, donde nosotros hablamos espaÃ±ol, pero is yo viviera en EUA o Reino Unido prefiero espaÃ±ol... el frances es menos importante.

Well, you may have a need to speak spanish in the U.S but well I can go into a video store find a movie that comes in French , greman, and portugeese! What about spanish? So yes spanish is more used, but what will be easier to learn? I lived in mexico and that is how I learned to speak spanish and everyone there told us to watch tv! So there you have it. Bueno, tu talves nengas que usar espanol mas en la U.S. perro qual es mas facil aprender. Yo puedo entrar ah un tienda y encontrar up pelicula en frances, y otros perro no en espanol! Perro ahy mas personas quenes hablan espanol que frances aqui en la U.S.

Does the amount of detentions i get go on my yearly report

Does the amount of detentions i get go on my yearly report?
Can anyone tell me if the amount of detentions i have had through out the year is on my report? Im in secondary school UK. If you dont know, anyone in the past did it go on yours?

I live in Canada. Here I don't think it does. But I also don't get detentions at my school. I'd imagine it wouldn't say, although teachers may leave negative comments on your report.

I am not entirely sure. I for one don't live in the UK which makes it hard for an american girl to tell you. I know the teachers keep track for me but lucky I have only had detention LAST year...(but that was because of Brett<3) Nevermind that. I honestly would like to know if you get an answer. I am curious. How do UK secondary schools work in the detention thing? huh.

Probably not. Each detention is documented in your permanent record. Only grades, tardies, and absences are on my yearly report.
