OK, so just to stART off here's some backround info on the school sytems. UK: You go to primary and secondary school. Then when you're done with secondary you go to get your A levels, at the age of 16-18.(2 years) USA:You go to ghischool, graduate hgihschool at 18, then go to college. I really WANT TO GO TO A COLLEGE IN the UK. Like i'm sure of it. I'm in 9th grade, and here's the catch. I'm deciding between graduating highscool and trying to get in to a uni in the UK(it's hard to get in if overseas and about 3 times as much money) Or, after 10th grade going to get my A levels in the UK, so i can get in to a uni in the UK easier, and A TON less money. Which one do you think i should do? ,

I think it would be best for you to get you A levels in the UK &then get into a Uni from there, because its A LOT cheaper &you'll probably save a lot more time when it comes to preperation.

There's a lot to consider here. I'm glad you are sure of going to the UK for school. There is quite a bit that is great about the UK, and their school system is pretty darn good. Here's the thing. What happens if you don't do well on the A levels? This is my thinking--there is a reason that school goes to age 18 in the US. I'm not sure you'll have all the skills you need to do as well as you like on the A levels, and that's a pretty big risk then...airfare, place to stay...and what would you do if you needed to come back to the US to finish school? What if not having those grades 11 and 12 skills causes you to do worse at a British university? I know it would be less money, but I think you need to be a British subject in order to have schooling paid for in the UK. Therefore, I suggest you stay in the US and then go. I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but I hope it helps.
