Studying engineering (and don't know which school in UK to apply to)?
Can anyone recommend a school for me, I am looking to study abroad at a school in the UK, most likely in Scotland, vs. London or anywhere in England. Others have suggested The University of Aberdeen and the University of Bath, but without thinking; these can't possibly be easy schools to get into, can they? So can anyone recommend some schools that are less competitive and will be more likely to accept a student with a fair amount of average, grades some of my grades are very good just not all of them. CURIOUS: What other schools are there that are: In Scotland and accept students with medium (not perfect ) grades and offer engineering?

Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Chemical, Structural or Electronic engieering? believe me which one you eventually choose affects your options radically. Hmm Scotland has few easy to get into universities, Edinburgh has the best engineering school in Scotland with Glasgow hot on their heels, if you aren't that confident Aberdeen may be a good choice. International students may have an easier time in the UK, Southampton and Bath are good. Remember none of these require perfect grades, Edinburgh want AAB. Hull, Stirling Dundee and strathclyde do go lower. Engineering, tends to require at least BBB

How about trying to get on AT the schools. That way you will have the same days off, snow days, holidays, Summer vacations, etc. I have been in food service for over 20 years and that is what I plan on doing when my son starts school.

I don't know if it's allowed (would you feel comfortable if boys were pointing cams up your skirt?) but you are doing it for a good reason so I look forward to seeing the video on YouTube. :-)

Is it legal to change school hours drastically in the UK to only one school?
I was just wondering because they've made it into 8 1/2 hours when other schools are like, six. And its the headmaster changing it not the school council or whatever its called, so i was just wondering is that allowed?

Completely illegal. You should complain and bring the situation to your local council. This is totally illegal what he is doing. All schools must have the same time in school. Unless you get more holidays?
