Studying engineering (and don't know which school in UK to apply to)

Studying engineering (and don't know which school in UK to apply to)?
Can anyone recommend a school for me, I am looking to study abroad at a school in the UK, most likely in Scotland, vs. London or anywhere in England. Others have suggested The University of Aberdeen and the University of Bath, but without thinking; these can't possibly be easy schools to get into, can they? So can anyone recommend some schools that are less competitive and will be more likely to accept a student with a fair amount of average, grades some of my grades are very good just not all of them. CURIOUS: What other schools are there that are: In Scotland and accept students with medium (not perfect ) grades and offer engineering?

Mechanical, Civil, Aeronautical, Chemical, Structural or Electronic engieering? believe me which one you eventually choose affects your options radically. Hmm Scotland has few easy to get into universities, Edinburgh has the best engineering school in Scotland with Glasgow hot on their heels, if you aren't that confident Aberdeen may be a good choice. International students may have an easier time in the UK, Southampton and Bath are good. Remember none of these require perfect grades, Edinburgh want AAB. Hull, Stirling Dundee and strathclyde do go lower. Engineering, tends to require at least BBB
