I would like to be a primary school (1st) teacher in UK-what exact qualifiactions will i need?
Is it just a three year degree course? Or do i have to specialise in a certain subject and then do that PG-Something year long course? Thank you, any help would be great as you can see, i am not that clued up on the whole "what is needed" bit lol x

You can do a 3/4 year straight degree - look out for the ones that say 'with QTS' which is qualified teacher status. Manchester Met in Crewe is a good one to do it with. Or you could do a degree and then do a PGCE for a year. I don't think you have to specialise in anything but you will need a good degree to get on. As well as you A Level results to get onto your degree you will need at least a C at GCSE for English, Science and Maths as you have to take your skills tests in these.
