What is the typical food kids in england/the UK eat for lunch in school?
Is it like... A chocolate bar and some chips? Because that's what I've heard basically. Anyway I need this information for a school assignment, so if someone could just tell me what's most common to have for lunch?

It is mainly junk food. When I was in secondary school the kids ate burgers, chips, hot dogs, cakes, crisps, chocolate, coke etc. But when I was in primary school the kids got a basic meat and two veg meal with a pudding and custard. I don't think they make them like that anymore.

No we are much healthier than that! Jesus this isn't America! Since Jamie Oliver (maybe research him) started campaigning against unhealthy food, most schools went healthy. The average food children eat is sandwiches and crisps or pasta.
