I know with GCSEs and everything it is important, I'm more on about my choise of Secondary School (UK). I'm in year 9 so I've been at my school for 3 years now. And i'm a little worried that It could hold me back in my future, I think this because the school doesn't exactly have the best pupils and results you could want. Plus, My Mam thought I could do better if I went to a better school which she had applied me for, But I told her It wasn't for me and I didn't want to go. So she only opted for me to go to the school I go to now. But now it worries me as I may not do as well as I hope in my GCSEs and A-Levels. Do you think going to this not so good school have stunted my future a little? My teachers think that I could get A*s at GCSE, I've been told this in History and Spanish, However I'm not taking History for GCSE Next year. I'll explain why in extra information if anybody wants. Thanks in advance for any replied :) In in the UK, And I think that our 'Years' are one behind your 'Grades' So I think year 9 is Grade 10? And What other information would you need?

Your future affects you if your in grade 9 or up (doing community service is a must do). I would really say that the hard work should all start in grade 10 for the future. Just work hard and get A's to go to a good high school, I mean it's worth the shot. I know what your going through for most of the part. If you could give me more information, that would be great hope I helped =)
