i have a 82% average, im on the track team, and im in the french and latin american club. i want to know if i can be able to get into schools like syracuse or UK. i live in the bronx and go to cardinal spellman high school

an 82% average is around a 3.1 in my school. over 65% of syracuse's students have a 3.75 or above. you should also be taking honors classes and be a leader of some club or sport. also, you should try to do some volunteer work or get a job as well, that looks good. right now, in all honesty, it's not looking good, but if your still only a freshmen or sophomore you still have time to pull your gpa up, do some volunteer work, and do very well on the SAT.
