Just wondered how many days they can have off in the uk (Primary school) before the authorities start asking questions. Over a term or a year or so not on the bounce so to speak.

My one boy last year went maybe 2 months the WHOLE year! I was begging them to help me get him to school! They did not care in the least. This kid is a lot bigger then me and if I used cattle prod they would have sent cops to my door. BTW He still is above the other kids this year as far as smarts go, do not get it?? I think he was just testing all of us? Anyhoo this is what happened to us. Whoops just noticed you are in the UK, Sorry we are in small town America....

I thought questions would already be asked . It would depend on whether the parents notify the school about the child being absent for a number of valid reasons. But if the child is playing truant well then questions may well be asked soon.
