is secondary school compulsory in the uk for a child already 16yrs,if so is he entitle to EMA?.as he's 16th birthday falls a whole year before he actually start college.

It's compulsory until the June term in the academic year you turn 16 (i.e. you have to stay in school until the end of year 11).
