Going to school and living in the UK.

Going to school and living in the UK.?
I want to go to school in England. What is a good school and a good city to live in. I was looking at the University of Manchester. I also glanced at Sheffield. Any insight would be very helpful. And by good I mean one of the better schools in the UK. Thanks.

I lived in London when I studied abroad through the London School of Economics - it was excellent. The best schools in Engand are Oxford and Cambridge - you can study at these schools - if your grades are good enough. I like London best but England is not a very large country and the train system works well so even if you go to school in another city, you can travel to other cities as well. Studying abroad is a great idea, truly one of the most wonderful experiences of my life and I am so grateful for having had the opportunity.
