my son is now in year 10 and he picked a subject which he now doesn't want to do, which is geography, he wants to do something in the music industry for a career, but the teacher that takes the class wont let him change to music because there is 28 people in the class, should i call them and tell them to let him do the subject or just leave it. ?

hey!! well im doing geography gcse (im in year 11)...and trust me if you don't like the subject....its going to be hard work. Im having great difficulties with my coursework right now....and i HATE geography if i had the chance i would've changed it but now obviously its too late. anyways if your son is really serious about a music career then if i were you i would go in to the school and have a wrod with head of year 10. If they don't do anything about it then go to the headteacher. You have to be tough to get what you want! its about his future. Also he has missed 1/2 term of music gcse. so he should be willing to catch up in his lunchtime and hometime. other wise he is behind. Tell this to the teacher aswell...that your son will catch up. good luck

28 people isn't much, so I'm surprised, and don't worry about catching up, i missed over an entire year of gcse and managed to catch up. talk to the head of year.
